How long before you can come to collect me? Will you need a photo when you apply for me or exchange me for your Opencard? How long will I be valid? How long before you can come to collect me?

I’m usually available within 14 days after you’ve submitted your application, but sometimes things do slow down a bit, so just take this just as a general guideline. The General Commercial Terms and Conditions always have the last word.

Will you need a photo when you apply for me or exchange me for your Opencard?

Yes, you can’t get me without a photo. You’ll need one every time you apply, even if you lose me or someone steals me.

How long will I be valid?

I’ll make you happy for 4 years from the date I’m issued.

By when do you need to trade in your Opencard for me and how can you do it for free?

You don’t need me as long as your Opencard is valid.
If you apply for me online at www.litacka.cz before your Opencard expires, you’ll get me for free and delivered right to your home by post.

In case you lose me or someone steals me, getting a new card will unfortunately cost you something. Take a look at the Price List.

So, by when can you trade in your Opencard for little ol’ me?

AT THE EARLIEST 2 months before your Opencard expires.
AT THE LATEST 30 days after your Opencard expires.

The validity of certain cards have been extended:
Cards that expired in 2012 – extended till 2016
Cards that expired in 2014 – extended till 2016
Cards valid until April 30, 2013 – extended till 2017
Cards valid until March 31, 2015 – extended till 2017

Only the year changes for extended cards. The expiration day and month stay the same.

For example, cards that expired on September 30, 2012 are valid till September 30, 2016.

Cards that expired on March 31, 2013 are valid till March 31, 2017.

Do you have to give up your Opencard when you exchange it?

No.

What if you want to get me for someone else?

Thanks for helping others, that’s nice of you! To get me for someone else you’ll need to complete the form ‘Power of Attorney to Apply for/Collect Card’, along with a copy of the ID card of the person you’re getting me for.

But don’t worry, you don’t need to get the Power of Attorney certified!

If you’re getting me for your child (younger than 18 years), you don’t need the Power of Attorney, of course; just make sure your ID card lists him or her. If not, just take his or her Birth Certificate with you.

Can you also get my anonymous version anywhere besides Express Points?

Unfortunately, no. If I’m anonymous, I won’t have an of your details, so you’ll only be able to get me at the following Express Exchange Point:
- Litacka Customer Center (Škoda Palace) – Jungmannova 35/29, PRAGUE.

How should the photo look?

The photo should have a maximum size of 2 MB and be at least 346px high and 260px wide. Acceptable formats are: jpg, jpeg and png.

Make sure that the photo is current, otherwise you risk being fined by a ticket inspector. If the photo contains any nonsense, we won’t approve it.

What if you take a bad photo?

We check every photo. If a photo is not appropriate, we’ll send you an e-mail and you’ll be able to change the photo in your account.

What should you do if you’ve entered your data incorrectly?

You may not change any data yourself. If something is incorrect, you should call the customer line immediately. Our operators will gladly change the data for you as long as the card has not been printed yet. this is why you need to call as soon as possible to call as soon as possible.

How can you find out what’s happening with your application or what the status of your card is?

If you applied online, you can monitor your card’s progress in your account, which you can create by registering your e-mail and creating a password. If you applied using a paper form, we’ll let you know by SMS and email when your card is ready to be picked up.

How can you be sure that I’m ready to be picked up?

As soon as I arrive at the pick-up place, we’ll send you an SMS as well as an e-mail. I can’t wait! J

Is it possible to cancel an online application? Will you get your money back?

Only the website’s managers can cancel your application, which will make them very sad. So, if you really want to cancel your application, please call the infoline or write an e-mail. If you’ve already paid, we’ll refund your money within 30 days.

If you chose to pay by bank transfer and the payment has not yet been sent, then there’s nothing to worry about J.

Can you use me immediately after you get me?

If I’m completely new or getting me doesn’t involve transferring without a travel ticket, you can use me immediately. If it involves transferring a valid travel ticket, then you need to first use a validator to transfer the ticket.

You can’t reach the infoline, now what?

Every day, a number of brave operators are ready to help you on the infoline. Even so, it sometimes happens that they’re fully occupied. In this case, wait and moment and call again or else send an e-mail.

Are you still waiting for the activation e-mail?

Try checking all of the folders in your e-mail account. If you can’t find the e-mail anywhere, even in your spam or in junk mail folders, write to us at info@litacka.cz and we’ll figure something out.

Do you want to apply for me on behalf of a child under 15, but don’t know where to turn?

It’s not possible to apply for a card for a child under 15 online or by using a paper application. Instead, you’ll need to visit our card centre in Škoda Palace at Jungmannova 35/29, where I’ll be prepared for you while you wait for the same the price as the online application. And we’ll leave together! J

When will I be delivered to you?

The terms and conditions say that you need to wait max 30 days, but in reality, everything goes much faster and we should be able to meet in 14 days, at the latest. You should be expecting a registered letter from the company Monet+, a.s. based in Zlín.

How can you get me free of charge?

You can get me free of charge if you apply for me online up to two months before or up to one month after your Open Card expires and send your Open Card in by mail.

Is it possible to get me on the spot?

Yes, at every location on listed on https://www.litacka.cz/kontakt, but you’ll pay more than when using the online application. You can find the exact price in the pricelist.
